Raymond A. Tye

TYE Raymond A. “Ray”, age 87, died on March 10, 2010 at his home in Cambridge, MA. Beloved husband of Eileen Tye and devoted father of James Tye of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Carol Rose and her husband Paul of Lakewood, Colorado, the late Michael Tye, Mark Tye and his wife Paula of Brazil and Aspen, Colorado, Randy O’Brien and her husband Bill of North Easton, MA and cherished step-father of Lauren Cronin and her husband Tom of Wellesley, MA. Dear brother of the late Dr. Mauray Tye of Haverhill and the late David Tye of Westport, CT and brother-in law to Dorothy Tye and Jean Tye. He leaves five grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at Congregation Mishkan Tefila, 300 Hammond Pond Parkway, Chestnut Hill, MA on Monday, March 15th at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Children of Israel Cemetery, Middle Road, Haverhill, MA. The family will receive visitors in the Abbey Room of the Boston Public Library, McKim Building, both on March 15th, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and again on March 16th from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
