Susan Marie Wehner

Susan "Sue" Wehner (Paré), age 85, of Mashpee, MA, died peacefully on March 26, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Robert Wehner for 64 years.

She was born in Meriden, CT, the daughter of the late Philemon Paré and Irene Paré (Belanger). After graduating from Meriden High School she attended St. Mary's Nursing School in Waterbury, CT. She later obtained her Bachelors of Science from St. Joseph's College. Upon graduation from Nursing School, she worked in Labor and Delivery for 50 years until the age of 72.

Besides leaving her husband, Bob, she is survived by her two daughters: Carolyn Garrahan and her husband Tom Garrahan, of East Sandwich; and Karen Wehner of Mashpee. She was the cherished Nana to her two granddaughters, Abby (Mickey) and Maggie (Liam), and her great grandchildren, Johnny and Hailey.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother who anchored the family through her hard working, kind, and selfless efforts throughout her life. She was loved by all who knew her and she touched all who met her with her sweet, generous, and loving spirit. She battled cancer and other ongoing medical conditions valiantly and with grace for many years, never losing her cheerful spirit and smile.

She will live in the hearts of her family forever.

A private service will be held for immediate family only at a later date.
