Malinda Woehl Obituary

Malinda "La La" Lynn Woehl passed away suddenly in her home on June 22, 2016, in Belgrade, Montana, at the age of 28.

She was born Aug. 16, 1987, in Helena, Montana, to Thomas L. and Wendi A. (Thorson) Woehl. Malinda graduated from Capital High School in 2005. She then proceeded to explore life in many ways until she met and married Christopher "Chris" Bates. They soon settled down and established family roots in Belgrade. After welcoming four children into their home, Malinda aspired to be a cosmetologist. Although her true love was her children. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her husband and children. She was one of the most kind-hearted and unselfish individuals anyone would ever meet. Malinda will be missed dearly.

Malinda is survived by her father, Thomas Woehl; mother, Wendi Thorson; husband, Christopher Bates; children, Sean Bates, Cora Bates, Floella Bates and Viola Bates; brothers, Darin and Brad Woehl; and step-brother, R.J. Farrell; step-sister, Jessica Farrell.

A memorial to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, July 9 at 11 a.m. at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel. All are welcome to reflect on an angel who left us too early, and the family hopes to see you there. Donations are welcome at the time of service.
