Bradenton, Florida - Ann Marie Cobb, 91, of Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Bay Village, OH on March 10, 1931 then moved to Ashboro, NC to finish high school and began working at General Electric in purchasing. Ann moved to Sarasota, FL with her family in 1956 and worked at Green's Fuel in purchasing. Ann is predeceased by her father, Charles Zimmerman, Sr.; her mother, Mildred Zimmerman; and her brother, Charles Zimmerman, Jr.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ned Cobb, Sr; daughter, Sharon Hong (Adam) of Bradenton; sons; Ned Cobb, Jr., Randy Cobb and Gary Cobb all of Bradenton. Ann was a proud grandmother to: Alex and Jessica Acco (Ashley); along with great-grandson, Colin. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Ann (Tally) Zimmerman; nephews and nieces; Charles, Cecelia, Jeanette, Mark and Paul. The family would like to also express their appreciation of the staff at Tidwell Hospice for their loving care during Ann's journey home. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton.
