I was out of town when Dan died and missed the funeral. Dan was an extraordinary citizen of which there are few. I worked with him both in business and in charitable pursuits for only a short time.

I will miss the wisdom and patient perspective Dan could always bring to a situation whether business or personal.

To All the McClure Family,
Your Dan always greeted me with a great smile and his agreeable voice, by name and then took time to ask how my family and I are doing. This always will be my pleasant remembrance of your Dad, who I knew was much occupied with farming, the community, his own health and family.
The reminisces of your dad, his parents along with your loving mother, illustrates to me the fine blend of kindness, sharp thinking and brotherhood that has been past to you and your children. I know that your dad was greeted in Heaven by so many, along with a extra fine fresh cut tomato and mayo sandwich, which of course he shared with all…
With Deepest Sympathy,
The Carney Family
