David "Jake" Curcio Sr.

David Curcio Obituary

David 'Jake' Curcio, Sr., 70, died peacefully May 7th, 2010. He was born in Hackensack, NJ, moved to Lodi, NJ in 1969 and finally settled in Bradenton, FL. Jake is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Mancini Curcio; sons, David Jr., Darren and loving daughter-in-law, Jennifer; sister, Lucy Beley. He was grandfather (Pop-Pop) to four grandsons, Kyle, Christopher, Connor and Ryan. Jake proudly worked for Lodi, DPW in NJ, after retirement he started a local part-time window cleaning service in Bradenton. Jake was a devoted baseball coach for Lodi Little League. He enjoyed hunting in NJ and upstate Morris, New York. He could always be found fishing at the 59th Street boat ramp every Saturday and Sunday morning, enjoying time with his friends. Jake was a caring and kind man who will be dearly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at Braden River Baptist Church, 5412 SR 64 East, Bradenton, Friday, May 14th, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial service at 3 pm.

Dear Brenda,

Mr. Condolences to the Curcio family. I have many fond memories of Jake hunting, little league, or when Darren and I where hanging around the house. He will be missed.
