Joseph Eugene Palmer

September 18, 1942 - February 8, 2025

Bradenton, Florida - Joseph Palmer of Bradenton, Florida passed away February 8 at the age of 82. Joe, who was born in Cleveland, Ohio, graduated from St. Edward High School in 1960 and went on to earn his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Akron. He taught at Walsh Jesuit High School, was a CPA and partner in the firm Apple Growth Partners, and later owned the Carousel Dinner Theater in Akron.

Joe was predeceased by his parents and his brother James. He is survived by his daughters Tara Barbieri (Jim) of Clearwater, FL and Kelly (Keith) of Lithia, FL; grandchildren Julia Barbieri, Drew Martin, and Rylee Martin; fiancée Sarah Myers, and a host of friends and extended family.

Joe enjoyed going on cruises, watching Notre Dame football, and most of all, attending his grandchildren's various performances and athletic events.

Per Joe's wishes, there will be no formal funeral; instead, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 23 beginning at noon at the Pier 22 restaurant in Bradenton.
