Michael A. Sorn
Michael A. Sorn, age 59, passed away on December 5, 2017, after a short stay in the hospital. He was born on June 27, 1958 to Clarence and Shirley Sorn. Born in Freeport, Illinois, he grew up in Pearl City, Illinois and lived most of his life in Sarasota, Florida. In 2012 he moved to Colorado then in 2017 he moved back to Florida the state that he loved. He was a fun-loving, hard-working man with a quick wit. Above all else, he loved his family, which was very important to him. He is survived by his siblings, Steve Sorn (Monument, Colorado, married to Trina Harvey), Connie Sorn (Freeport, Illinois), Gary Sorn (Sarasota, Florida), Debbie Holena (Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, married to Phil Holena) and Mark Sorn (Pearl City, Illinois). There will be a private Service in Sarasota, FL and a Celebration of Life in Illinois. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
