Patricia Gail Fleetwood

January 6, 1941 - September 13, 2025

Sarasota, Florida - Patricia Gail Fleetwood, 84, of Manatee County, went home to be with Jesus on September 13, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1941, in Bradenton, Florida, to the late Frank and Lorree (Helm) Askew. Patricia was a lifelong resident of Manatee County and attended Manatee High School.

She enjoyed cooking and had a deep love for the outdoors, spending much of her time gardening and tending to her flowers and vegetables.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Stewart Fleetwood; her sons, Randy Albritton and wife Joyce, and Jeff Albritton; stepchildren Kimberly Stern and Barrow Fleetwood; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild, with another on the way. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Bunny Askew, as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Shirley Hirstein, and brothers Lamar Askew and Harold Wilson.

Patricia's family will remember her for her warmth, kindness, and love of family and nature.

There will be a Celebration of Patricia's Life to be held Sunday, October 26th, 2025 from 2:30 to 5:30 pm at Palma Sola Botanical Park, 9800 15th Avenue NW, Bradenton, Florida 34209.
