I had the privilege of being Steven's doctor during the years I have practiced in Florida. He always had a wonderful attitude even when he was hurting or really sick. The first time I remember meeting Steven, he was the DJ at a school dance in Myrtle, WV which I thought was extremely cool. Then I learned we were practically neighbors (within walking distance) in Lenore. So from time to time he would walk to my house and we would play basketball and enjoy each others company.
I have very fond memories of Steven and my prayer is that the void he leaves behind will be filled with many happy memories. I am so sorry for your loss and will be praying for the family and friends he leaves behind.
