Susan Lyn Mabrey Beshore

Susan Lyn Mabrey Beshore, 65, of Bradenton, FL passed away peacefully in the arms of her children on April 5, 2016. Her pride and joy were her three successful children and three lovely granddaughters. Susan was born on September 23rd, 1950 in Fort Clayton, Panama and spent her youth traveling to different states and countries during her father's career as a Colonel in the US Air Force. She graduated from Chofu High School in Okinawa Japan and attended Southwest Missouri State University. Susan selflessly devoted her life to bettering the lives of others through her countless personal relationships and involvement with numerous organizations. Through the years she served as President of several Women's Clubs in California and Florida, a Girls Scouts Troup Leader, a manager of the Newbury Park Girls Softball League, and volunteered with various youth sports organizations. She also worked as a Secretary and Employment Specialist with the Conejo Valley Unified School District Transition Program touching the lives of many youth. Her most recent dedications included serving as the President of the Beta Kappa Chapter for Phi Beta Psi Sorority (charity sorority in Bradenton for cancer research), the Editor at the Bradenton Garden Club where she won awards for her newsletters, and being a member of the Chofu High School Alumni Association. She is survived by her son Sean (Jennifer), daughters Stacie (Erin) and Molly (David); grandchildren Audrey, Katelyn, Alexis and expected grandchild; brother Tom (Vicki) and sister Sandy; her former husband of 44 years, David Beshore; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
