Theodore J. Tobias Sr.
Legacy

As we say goodbye to Dad and we get back to our lives. There is a final and lasting tribute to recognize and appreciate. He was a man of many traits highly spiritual, had amazing work ethic, stood up for what he felt was right, had focus, was fearless in his convictions, had a quick-wit, had a good sense of humor, understood his heritage, worked 2-3-4 jobs to feed his family, understood commitment, was a patriot, had stick-to-it-iveness [perseverance], wanted the best for his children, loved his wife and family, had an amazingly fruitful life while starting out with so little [8th grade education in the Depression after WWII, was a solidly ethical man.
All of us have been exposed to poor parentingfriends, coworkers, the newswhere negative and destructive behaviors are passed on. Fortunately for us, whether we are direct off-spring or in-laws of his, this was not the caseindeed the opposite.
So as we go forward without him physically this world, always be aware of one thing. Any decisions you make, any challenges you master, any lessons learned, any accolades you receive in the workplace, any positive responses from your significant others or your childrenit all stems back somehow to an overt message he sent, a lesson he taught, a subtle characteristic he passed on or a trait you mirrored from him [ and her]. We should forever be mindful of this legacy and appreciate it all. Glenn 7/11/15
