Virgil Miller Obituary

Virgil A. Miller, 92 of Bradenton, Florida passed away April 5, 2010. He was born November 17, 1917 in Clinton Twp. Elkhart County, Indiana. He graduated from Goshen High School in 1936 and married Arloine Moyer in 1940. He worked as a patternmaker until his retirement. He relocated to Bradenton in 1982. He was active in the Moose, Elks, Lions, and pattern makers union plus church activities in the First Methodist church in Buchanan, Michigan and the Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren in Bradenton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, his parents, his brothers Herman and Erdman, one grandson and one great granddaughter and one step grandson. Survivors include a daughter Sharon (John) Underdah, Sebring, Fl., a son Spencer (Amelia) Miller, Buchanan, Mi., a sister Ellen (Duane) Reigsecker, five grandchildren four step-grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephew also survive. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren, 6323 13th St. Ct. East, Bradenton, Fl. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren or TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care.

Dear Sharon and Spencer and family...I just found out Sharon and Spencer that you father who I admired so much as I did you mother passed away. Loren and I (Sue) are so sorry. I have so many fond memories of your folks Sharon and Spencer at Clear Lake during the 1950's. Your folks were such wonderful folks full of energy and treated everyone so nice and the list goes on!! I know how it feels to loose our mom and dad because my folks died 13 weeks apart in 1999.
