Bernice Clark Obituary

EMPORIUM - Bernice Owens Clark, resident of the Guy and Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, passed away on Thursday (Jan. 18, 2018) at the age of 103.
She was born in Salisbury Center, N.Y., on Jan. 5, 1915. She moved to Austin in her teens and later to Emporium and was employed by Sylvania.
On June 30, 1934, she married Clifford W. Clark, who preceded her in death in 2013 at the age of 99.
She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Emporium.
She is survived by one son, Gary (Barbara) Clark; two grandchildren, Christine (Brian) Slusarick, and Clifford (Eugenia) Clark; and four great-grandchildren, Molly and Chloe Slusarick, and Clara and Andrew Clark.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Barnett Funeral Home in Emporium. Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Emporium at 11 a.m. on Monday. Burial will be at the Newton Cemetery in Emporium.

Many many years ago my Mother was a dear friend of "Beanie"..I can remember some of Mom's stories about the two of them. Amazing that she lived 103 years .My deepest sympathy and love to Gary, Barb and their family.
