Bruno Vecellio Obituary
Born July 15, 1934, in Lewis Run, Pa., he was a son of Giuseppe and Maria Vecellio. He married Roberta J. Hovis of Renovo, Pa., on Aug. 19, 1961 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Renovo.
Bruno retired from the Elmira City School District after years of service as a memorable physical education teacher.
Surviving family members are sons Gary (Linda) Vecellio of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Kevin Vecellio of Pine City, N.Y., Shawn (Pam Bustillo) Vecellio of San Jose, Calif., and brother Clayton (Gloria) Vecellio of Lewis Run, Pa., as well as many nieces and nephews.
In honor of family wishes, a small, private ceremony will be held with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira.
Arrangements are under the direction of at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway, Elmira, NY 14904.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Vecellio's passing. He was a wonderful teacher and I have many fond memories of him at Pine City School. He will not be forgotten.

I continue to send my deepest condolences to you all during this difficult time. I am beyond grateful for the time I was able to spend with Bruno the last couple of years; he was a pleasure to help care for. I will forever remember Bruno for the amazing, kind and gentle soul that he was.

Bruno was the gym teacher at Fassett School when I taught there in the 1970's. He was a friendly, cheerful person to work with. The children loved going to gym class.
