Caroline Maben Obituary

Caroline J. Maben, 94, of 5804 Church St. Limestone, N.Y., passed away Aug. 12, 2025, at Pines Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Olean, N.Y.
Caroline was born in Limestone on Oct. 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian Clark Pinkerton.
In 1949, she married Alvia Greek, who died Aug. 14, 1963. On March 19, 1966, she married John Maben and he preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 1987.
She was a 1948 graduate of Limestone Union Free School.
She had been employed at Airco Speer and retired from the Dresser Memorial Rest Home.
Caroline was a member of the Bradford VFW Auxiliary and Bradford Moose Auxiliary.
Caroline is survived by five daughters, Shirley (John) Morris of Pittsburgh, Connie (Jim) Cramer of Bradford, Susan (Larry) Eberly of Limestone, Debra (Bryan) Woods of Limestone and Michele Myers of Limestone; 13 grandchildren, John Morris, Jennifer Levy, David Kornacki, Steve Kornacki, Mike Kornacki, Deidre Greek, Alexandria Greek, Lisa Kavelish, Tyler Woods, Kelly O'Rourke, Ashley Gallmeyer, Jessica Myers and Megan Bailey; 15 great-grandchildren, David, Sarah, Sam Kornacki, Jordan Kornacki, Garrett Kornacki, Hayden Kornacki, Brooke Kavelish, Benjamin Kavelish, Bridgette Kavelish, Charlotte Levy, Eddie Levy, Sophia Woods, Parker Bobenrieth, Lydia O'Rourke and Liam Gallmeyer; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and both husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Greek; one daughter, Karen Kornacki; and four sisters, Marge Greek, Ruth Hill, Pearl Kurtz and Lois Clark.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday (Aug. 15, 2025) at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 16, 2025) with Pastor Dr. Eric Kessell of Bradford Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Pines in Olean, or a charity of the donor's choice.
