Christian Carlson Obituary

SOUTH DAYTON, N.Y. - Christian A. Carlson, 29, of Raleigh, N.C., and formerly of South Dayton, passed suddenly Wednesday (Nov. 15, 2017) due to a respiratory illness.
He was born Dec. 11, 1987, in Gowanda, N.Y., to JP and Terry Carlson of South Dayton.
Christian was a '06 graduate of Pine Valley Central School and earned his Bachelors of Arts Degree from SUNY Fredonia in Music Business.
Christian enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, attending concerts, and living life to the fullest. He brightened each and every room that he entered and will be remembered fondly as one of the most caring humans to have walked the earth. He enjoyed the company of his "fur baby Hercules."
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Erin (Mansfield) Carlson; his brothers Eric (Laura) and Andrew (Karolyn); four nephews and two nieces, several aunts, uncles and cousins; his mother and father-in-law, Fred and Elaine Mansfield; and his sister-in-law Hailey Mansfield.
He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m Tuesday at DiStasio – Hills Funeral Chapel 478 Route 83 at Balcom Corners, South Dayton, where a funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday.
Inurnment will be in Villenova Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to South Dayton Volunteer Fire Department 34 Maple St, S. Dayton, NY 14138; American Lung Association 55 Wacker Dr. Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601; Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America 8201 Corporate Dr. Suite 1000 Landover, MD 20785.
