Deborah Hymel Obituary

MINOT, N.D. - Deborah Ann Burns Hymel, U.S. veteran, 63, of Lansford, formerly of Bradford, Pa., died Tuesday (Sept. 16, 2025) in a Minot hospital.
Deborah Ann Hymel was born Oct. 31, 1961, to Pauline Mays and William Burns. Deb enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and entered active duty on Sept. 22, 1981. She was stationed at Minot Air Force Base. While stationed here, Deb met Rene "Buzz" Hymel, while he was on temporary duty in Riverdale in 1981. They married on Dec. 16, 1982, and were blessed with two sons, Rene III and William Paul.
Deb is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Rene "Buzz" Hymel of Lansford; sons, Rene III (Amanda) Hymel of Glenburn and William "Paul" Hymel of Minot; grandchildren, Etionna, Rene IV, Ravin, Rexton, Reenix, Valerie, EmmiLou and StarLynn; sisters, Sandy Glase and Bonnie Burns; and many nieces and nephews.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Suppa; and brother-in-law, Ralph Glase.
A celebration of life for Deb Hymel will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 25, 2025) at Trinity United Church in Lansford. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery, Bradford, at a later date.
