Donna Newman Obituary

Donna Ruth Newman, 87, passed away peacefully Monday (Aug. 5, 2024) in Auburndale, Fla.
She was born May 19, 1937, in Bradford to Mary Erskine Holcomb and Ira Roscoe Knight.
On June 2, 1956, in Bradford, she married Edgar F. Newman, who passed away in 2015.
Donna was a kind and loving person, and she made the world a better place. She will be remembered fondly and missed dearly.
She was a member of Bob-A-Lees square dancing, Oil Valley Cloggers, Red Hats and the Koffee Cup Bowling League.
Donna is survived by daughters Pam Newman of Auburndale and Brenda (Stephen Sr.) Schiappa of Bradford; son, Todd (Daphne) Newman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Marilyn (Charles) Swanson Bliley of Webster, N.Y.; grandchildren Stacy Davis, Stephen (Kendra) Schiappa Jr., Vince (Kate) Schiappa, Cassidy Newman and Grant Newman; great-grandchildren Madeline and Jack Davis and Rosalyn and Nolan Schiappa; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Edgar, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lou Cummins, Dora Mae Blake and Linda Burleson; and brother, Earl "Sonny" Knight.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to CancerCare.org or the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.

Brenda, Todd and Pam,
So sorry to hear of your mom´s passing. I have fond memories of her from my childhood and all the sleep-overs I had with Brenda at your house. She was always so sweet and kind to me. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Dear Pam, Brenda and Todd, I am sorry to hear of your Mom´s passing. I will always remember the times we all had together and especially watching her and your Dad Clogging. It was such fun. She was a really nice person and I know she will be missed. Hugs to you all.
