Jared Klinger Obituary
He was born on Feb. 14, 1992, at Fort Polk, La. and was the beloved son of Robert "Joe" Klinger and Carla Fleming Klinger and beloved brother of Danika Klinger.
Jared was a 2010 graduate of Kane High School and excelled at soccer, a game that he loved his entire life. He also loved fishing and spending time with friends and family.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 2011 to 2014, where he attained the rank of Airman First Class.
Jared is survived by his parents and sister; his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Alexandra Klinger of Shippenville; maternal grandmother, Betty Fleming of Knox; paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Gurnee of Emlenton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carl Fleming of Knox.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane with Mr. Tim Casey officiating.

I'm up here in Lackland and I just ran into an old buddy of ours from tech school whom just gave me the news. I am in disbelief. You were my brother, we went through bootcamp and tech school together. You'll always be in our hearts and minds. My deepest condolences goes out to your family. God bless.
