Michael Radtke Obituary
Mike was a 2005 graduate of Smethport High School and received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Mercyhurst in 2013. Mike was employed by the American Leadership Academy in Florence, Ariz., and was to begin his teaching career this school year. He was previously employed with Erie Homes for Children and Adults as a direct support person. He loved all his clients.
Mike wrestled in college at Mercyhurst N.E. He was an avid wrestling fan and was a member of PWR wrestling in Erie, performing as "Ivan Radski" in many local events. He and the love of his life, Chelsea, were great lovers of animals and shared their home with many pets. They loved the outdoors and spent many hours hiking the mountains of Arizona.
He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Chelsea Kaschalk Radtke, his mother Valerie Radtke of Waterford, his father Vincent (Lisa) Radtke of Eldred, one brother Jason (Jessica) Radtke and his family of Waterford; grandmother Alice Ford of Smethport and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ralph and Millie Radtke, and maternal grandfather Harley Ford.
Visitation will be held at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, Erie PA 16506, on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, August 7, 2022 from noon until the time of the funeral service there at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ANNA Shelter 1555 E 10th St. Erie, PA 16503
