Robert Hadfield Obituary

KANE - Robert Hadfield, 92, of West Wind Road passed away Tuesday (May 27, 2025) at Sena Kean Manor.
Born Oct. 27, 1932, in Kane, he was a son of the late Robert and Ruby (Nystrom) Hadfield. On July 13, 1957, in Ridgway, he married Shirley Umpleby, who survives.
Bob worked many years ago at Huston Electronics. He also owned his own excavation equipment and was best known for being the local grave digger for more than 40 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Chuck Hadfield of Kane; a granddaughter, Kristy Hadfield of Anderson, Ind.; and a grandson, Jayme Hadfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Mae Miller, Margaret Anderson and Darlene Miller; three brothers, Dick, Keith and Paul Hadfield; his daughter-in-law Wanda Hadfield; and his fur baby, Kiddo.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made to the McKean County SPCA, 80 Glenwood Ave., Bradford, PA 16701; or Sena Kean Manor, 17083 Route 6, Smethport, PA 16749.
