Jeffrey Sheehan Obituary

Jeffrey L. Sheehan 1984-2012 Jeffrey L. Sheehan 27, passed away on Thursday July 19, 2012 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, Vt., surrounded by his family. He was born December 11, 1984 in Brattleboro, Vt. He attended Flood Brook Elementary School and Graduated from Burr & Burton Academy class of 2006. Jeffrey was employed at the Vermont Country Store in Weston, Vt. He also worked at the Bryant House in Weston. He enjoyed landscaping and did odd jobs for many people in the town of Weston. He was also assistant sexton at the Old Parish Church. Jeffrey loved life, loved people and was an advocate for his friends with disabilities. He loved playing video games, enjoyed comedy, he was an avid sports fan, and a fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots. He also enjoyed swimming, hiking, kayaking, yoga, horseback riding, skiing, snowshoeing, cooking and fishing, and loved animals. He is survived by his parents George and Marianne Carroll of Weston, Vt. Four sisters; April Brown of Chester, Amber Hubner and husband Jason of Putney and their daughter Alyssa. Erin Carroll of Weston, and Patricia Carroll of Ft. Myers, Fla. One brother; Christian Carroll of Miami, Fla. His Guardian Bethany Perry and several nieces & nephews, and all of his friends at Lincoln Street. FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Sunday August 5, 2012 at the Old Parish Church in Weston, Vt. Reverend Jon Bliss pastor will officiate. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Old Parish Church P.O. Box 125 Weston, Vermont 05161 or to Lincoln Street Global Campus 374 River Street Springfield, Vermont 05156. Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vermont.

We'll all miss you, Jeffrey. I remember the bus rides in high school from Manchester, picnics at the priory, and watching him assist customers at VCS. He always took the time to ask how people were doing, and I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face.

Jeffrey was truly a gift from God. I had the pleasure of working with him at VCS. His outlook on life made a difference in all of us. He always had a huge smile,laughter and would bring the best out in us all. May God hold this angel in the palm of his hand now.
