Lynn Tuttle Obituary

Lynn Arlene (Olsen) Tuttle, age 85, Walpole, NH passed away peacefully at her home in Walpole with her family at her side, on May 15, 2025.

Her parents, George and Estelle (Harris) Olsen welcomed their daughter into the world on September 07, 1939, in Perth Amboy, NJ. Lynn was a graduate of Keyport (NJ) High School. She attended Glassboro State Teachers College, Glassboro, NJ and Keene State College, Keene, NH.

She was a special education teacher at Thayer Higher School, Winchester, NH before working at Holstein Association USA in Brattleboro, VT, retiring as the manager of processing services. After retirement she worked part-time for many years at Road Scholar in Brattleboro.

Lynn enjoyed spending time with her family, anything Christmas and Christmas music, summers at Lake Salem in Derby, VT, craft fairs, trips to Dollywood and Colonial Williamsburg, walking the fields of Brimfield Antique Flea Market and the yearly tradition of making gingerbread houses on Thanksgiving Eve surrounded by the laughter of family.

Lynn will be greatly missed by many, especially her husband of 66 years, David Tuttle of Walpole, NH; her children, Pamela McGrath and her companion John, of Palmer, MA, Heidi Tuttle of Unionville, CT, David Tuttle of Norwood, MA, Samantha Houle and her husband William of Swanzey, NH; her brother Rev. James Olsen and his wife Arden of Dixon, IL; her grandchildren who lovingly called her "Kate", Melinda Moreno, Michael McGrath, Matthew McGrath, Nicole Messer, Danielle Budd, Francesca Hatzenbuhler, Jessica Houle and Bryan Houle; her greatgrandchildren, Kaleb, Emelia, Caiden, Carter, Giuliana, Aliya, Baylor, Michael and Matthew; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Diane and brothers Robert and Richard.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene NH. A graveside burial with committal prayers in the Village Cemetery, Walpole, will be held privately by the family.
