Dear Dave and Joyce,
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mom and such a dear person to me. Joyce, I will miss your mom’s warm understanding smile. She had a unique ability to communicate without saying a word. I remember how much your mom loved Muggsy and that wet tennis ball. I know she will be greatly missed by many.

Joyce and David,
Please know that we am thinking of you during this difficult time. I will always remember your mother with a smile. I enjoyed the time we spent together. I think the greatest thing about her was that when she spoke to me, no matter what age I was, she always spoke as if I was a peer and what I had to say was valuable. Not many people possess that quality.
