I fist came to know Pat when I was a paralegal for Georgia Legal Services. She was a wonderful and dedicated paralegal and I learned so much from her. Equally important, she opened her home which became the social hub for all of us. We remained in touch over the years and I had the pleasure of seeing Pat several times in Maine. She had an amazingly curious mind, and incessant thirst for knowledge, always tried to see the best in others, and was a great friend to all.
