Philip Rosen Obituary

Philip A. Rosen 1924-2011 Philip A Rosen, 87, died surrounded by friends in Lauderhill, Fla., on August 24, 2011. He grew up in the Bronx and raised a family in West Hampstead, N.Y. and Franklin Lakes, N.J. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 8th Air Force. The GI Bill helped him start a long successful career in the photo industry. As a partner of Keystone Camera Corporation he opened new markets around the world. He always put people before profits. He loved sports, was a loyal Red Sox fan, an avid tennis player and a high school football start. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Natalie. He was a devoted father and grandfather. His wit, optimism, and family loyalty will be greatly missed and always cherished. He is survived by three sons; Dr. Joseph Rosen of Brattleboro, Vt., Daniel Rosen of Wayne, N.J., and Mark Rosen of Franklin Lakes, N.J. Services were held in New Jersey on Friday, August 26.
