Janette McGray Obituary
Burlington, Janette (Dalanek) McGray, 88, of Burlington, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Cook Willow Convalescent Home. She is the widow of Aubrey L. McGray.
Janette was born on May 19, 1935 in Bristol, CT the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Kantorski) Dalanek . She graduated from Bristol High School in 1953. She worked at Wasley Products in Farmington for over 27 years and she retired in 2001. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren where she spent numerous years attending sporting events and out door activities. Looking forward to having her grandchildren sleeping over on the weekends and was a very important part of her life. She is survived by a son, Lance McGray and his wife Terri, a daughter, Leslie and her husband Kevin J. Smith, 2 Sisters, Deloris Bynun of Florida, Carol Grant Burlington. 6 grandchildren, Lance McGray Jr., and his wife Sarah, Joshua Coleman and his wife Sharon, Jacob Coleman and his Fianc Jennifer Caron and her son Xavier, Megan (McGray) Daigle and her husband Keith, Kevin G. Smith and his wife Renae, and Heather (Smith) Tampellini and her husband Justin and 10 great grandchildren, Parker, Brynn, Willa McGray, Hannah, Kaylie Daigle, Nathan, Olivia and Emilia Coleman, Maci Smith and Caden Tampellini plus several nieces and nephews.
Family with like to thank Cook Willow for all there support and care giving to her.
Service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 6:30 PM at Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St. Bristol. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
