Jean Gladstein Obituary
Jean Beverly Gladstein (ne Ginsburg) of West Hartford, CT passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Philip Gladstein, DDS. Jean will be greatly missed by her large family. She is survived by her three sons and their wives: Eric & Michelle Gladstein of Avon, CT; Martin (Marty) & Shelly Gladstein of Andover, MA; and Neil Gladstein & Lynn Rhinehart of Silver Spring, MD. Jean also leaves her eight grandchildren and their spouses and partners. Jean spent her childhood years in Springfield, MA, and graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Dental Hygiene.In addition to raising her family, Jean worked for many years as a dental hygienist, including those in the office of her husband. Jean enjoyed dancing, theater, playing competitive bridge, and traveling. The family will hold a memorial service at Temple Beth El in West Hartford on Sunday, August 27th at 11 am, followed by a luncheon. Contributions in Jean's memory may be made to Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation in Bloomfield CT.
