I am still trying to wrap my mind about what just happened.
Aj and I are so sad that this sweet, funny, super smart friend was taken so soon. We were blessed to know Mike .
One thing for sure, he taught us how to live life by his example.
We will miss you Mike!
To Heidi, his beautiful daughters, his family, we are truly sorry.

I am so sorry for your families' loss. This news saddened me greatly because in a short time I had the honor of having him as my landscaper taking care of my home outside and becoming a brilliant, kind and humorous friend I will never forget. Sending heartfelt prayers, hugs and love to you all! God Speed my friend!!

Mike Jefferson... to have known you was to be blessed.
From belting Beatles songs together at the top of our lungs, to learning the art of growing vegetables and trimming flowers under your patient guidance, you filled ordinary days with joy and meaning. I´ll never forget sampling your many home brews - each one a little reflection of your creativity and curiosity.
You were brilliant and quick-witted, with a humor that could light up a room and a kindness that wrapped around people like a warm blanket. You had a way of making everyone feel not just welcome, but cherished - like family.
You moved through life with quirks and charm that left an imprint on every heart you crossed. My only regret is not gathering up more days, more laughs, more memories with you.
Thank you, Mike, for the laughter, the lessons, and the love. You will be missed beyond measure and remembered with a smile every time a Beatles melody drifts through the air.

I don't know how I can go on without my little brother. But I will in live in his memory. He built a beautiful and hard working life for himself. He has two amazing daughters, and that definitely not Uncle bias. Ask Mike's people about them. So proud. He had his girl Heidi. We never became really close but she is like a sister to me. She has an amazing family, they went on great camping trips and vacations. Her family helped him get through losing our parents and sister. All love. I could write a book here, but will save the memories for family and friends.
