Michael Plouffe Obituary
Michael S. Plouffe, 57, of Farmington, NY passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY on May 27, 2023 due to end stage NAFLD. He was born on September 24,1965 to Alfred and Margarete (Berger) Plouffe of Bristol, CT. Michael graduated from St Paul Catholic High School Class of 1983 and Rochester Institute of Technology earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. His professional career spanned decades of work in national and international locations starting with Tetra Pak of Texas and culminating with Francis Smith and Sons in the upper New York State area. Michael enjoyed connecting with his 2 favorite girls; Daughter and Granddaughter, driving his Corvettes, riding motorcycles, skiing, and attending NASCAR events. In addition to his parents Michael is survived by 2 children. His son Jacob Plouffe, wife LeAnne, and granddaughter Cassidy Lynn of College Station TX: and daughter, Michaela Plouffe of Tampa, FL. He is missed dearly by his brother Geoffrey Plouffe and wife Teresa of Farmington MN; his sister Jennifer Benson and husband Eric of Plymouth CT; nephews Nathan Plouffe and wife Briah, Steven Plouffe ,Matthew Plouffe, Eli Benson, a niece, Alice Benson and a special friend; Colleen Hunt. Friends and relatives may call at Funks Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 8,2023 between 10 AM and 12 Noon.
