Nancy Lempicki Obituary
Nancy E.L. Lempicki, 89, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, at her daughter's home, surrounded by family. Born in Bristol to the late Ernest and Lorena (Merrill) Lafountain, Nancy attended local schools and graduated from Bristol High School in 1954. Not long after, she met and married the love of her life, Peter Lempicki, on June 14, 1958. While raising her children, Nancy worked at Aetna Insurance Company, where she devoted many years of dedicated service before retiring. She remained active in her community, serving with the Bristol Senior Center, Friends of Office, and the Aetna Women's Club. A proud fan, Nancy rarely missed a game when the UConn Women's Basketball team played. Her faith was a constant source of comfort throughout life's ups and downsshe was a devoted member of her church, The First Congregational Church of Bristol for over 50 years. Nancy was truly a kid at heart and had a lifelong love for all things Disney. Her love was so great that she took her entire family on a first-class Disney Cruise, staying together in three luxurious suitesa vacation of a lifetime they will never forget. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lynn Crowley and her husband Pete of Litchfield, and her granddaughter Brianna Crowley, also of Litchfield; her son Brent Lempicki and his wife Deanna of Plantsville; granddaughter Lindsey DiGravio and her husband Ron of Southington; granddaughter Sarah Schoonmaker and her husband Nick of Holly Springs, North Carolina; great-grandson Ronnie DiGravio of Southington; and her sister, Judith Power of Florida. Funeral services for Nancy will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. She will be lovingly laid to rest with her husband Peter in West Cemetery, 49 Pound St., Bristol. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., prior to the service.
