Rita (Johnson) Chatelle, 77, widow of Oliver Chatelle Jr., of Bristol, passed away at Bristol Hospital on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Rita was born in Manchester on June 11, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Roy W. and Rose (Fracchia) Johnson. She is survived by Allison and her husband Keegan Masse and their family. My sincere condolences on the passing of Rita. We worked together for many years at Bristol Pediatric Center. We were not only co workers, but also friends. She always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She touched many lives and will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Rita was my very first boss. I was 17, just out of high school with braces on my teeth, and she saw past my nervousness and first interview ever. This was at Aetna. Rita was a warm and kind woman and how lucky I was to have someone like her as my first supervisor. So very sorry for the loss of Rita to her family and friends.
