Sharon (Linnell) Apt, 72, of Pequabuck, wife of the late Wayne Carl Apt, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born December 21, 1950, in Bristol, daughter of the late Everett and Maude (Kovaleski) Linnell.

Prior to her retirement, Sharon was employed for 29 years by the UPS in Watertown. She enjoyed vacationing in ME at Ogunquit Beach, Perkins Cove and Nubble Light House. She also enjoyed going to tag sales with her son Ryan, working in her yard and decorating her home. Sharon enjoyed having Grace and Halle over to watch movies and swim in the pool.

Sharon leaves behind her son Russell Joseph Apt; her companion Ralph Ciarmella,

Jim, Tara, Grace and Halle Ciarmella and Lori Ciarmella and her companion Jeremy Riedel; her sister-in-law Connie Cleveland; her brother-in-law Skip Meccariello; her nephews, Robert Cleveland and his wife Kara and their children, Bryan Meccariello and his wife Kate, and her nephew and godson Jack Toth; her nieces, Leah Cleveland and her children and Allie Toth; her cousins, Jenifer Toth and her husband Scott, Raymond Kovaleski and his wife Audrey, and Barbara Apt; her life-long friend Christine Ciarmella; her special friends Kate and Mike Erwin and their children. Besides her husband, Sharon was predeceased by her son Ryan

Apt, her brother Thomas Linnell and her sisters Carol Linnell and Diane Meccariello.

Services will be held Thursday, April 20, 9:30 AM, from the Scott Funeral Home,

169 Main St., Terryville to St. Casimir Church, 17 Allen St, Terryville, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Terryville. Relatives and friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
