Tadeusz Roj Obituary
Tadeusz (Ted) Rj 63 of New Britain passed away in his home Monday morning on September 4th 2023. Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Stanislaw and Jadwiga Rj. Ted was predeceased by his wife Susan. Ted has been a proud New Britain resident since 2002. Ted was a renowned Stone Mason, having started as an apprentice stone cutter in the 80's and ultimately building his own Stone Masonry Business. Ted was an avid guitar player with a love for a variety of genres of music. Ted was extremely proud of his Polish heritage and equally a Patriotic American as he was the first Rj born in America. Ted was very active, enjoyed working, going to the beach, hiking in the woods, and still "pumped iron" at the age of 63. Ted who was known for his strength and stature had a kind & soft side to him, often feeding and tending to all sorts of animals, drawing, studying music, donating food and clothing, and often lighting candles in memory of those who passed before him. Ted is survived but his son Robert, his girlfriend Diane, his brother Chester & a sister Teresa both of California. A visitation for Ted will be held Monday September 11th 2023 from 4:00 - 6:00PM at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00PM.
