Linda Dorothy Siegfried

Linda Dorothy (Oswald) Siegfried passed away surrounded by her family Sunday, April 10, 2022, after a brief illness. Daughter of the late Dorothy and Roy Oswald, she was a graduate of Dieruff High School, Allentown, Pa. She and her husband Cliff owned Country Convenience Market & Deli, all while she held dual roles as an Emergency Medical Technician and Plant Facilitator at Kraft Foods of the Lehigh Valley. She retired in 2008 to Calabash after over 30 years at Kraft. With a thirst for knowledge, she studied User Interface Design classes at Lehigh Community College as an adult. An avid golfer and people person, when she wasn't swinging clubs, she was slinging drinks from the bar cart with a smile at golf courses around Calabash, including the Meadowlands, Colonial Charters and Glen Dornoch. She left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her zest for life could only be rivaled by her fierce love for her family. She had a passion for traveling, including destinations such as Africa, Egypt, Germany and Cuba, and loved playing pickleball with her friends. Her granddaughter, Ava, was the apple of her eye. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis and Wayne; sister, Peggy; aunts and uncles. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 50 years, Clifford Siegfried; son, Jason (Jessica) of Raleigh; daughter, Tara Mondin (Joe) of Emmaus, Pa.; and her beloved grandchildren, Ava, Abigail, Lucas and Brittany; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society at Cancer.org.
