Patrick Larkin Obituary
Pat was born and raised in Englewood, New Jersey. He lived in Cresskill, New Jersey, before moving to Richmond Hill 13 years ago.
He was a union carpenter with Local 608 in New York City. Pat was a member of the Bergen Irish Association, which he was very proud of. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a communicant of St. Anne Catholic Church in Richmond Hill.
Pat loved going to auctions, working with his hands repairing things, being outdoors and he especially loved becoming a grandpa.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Larkin of Richmond Hill; son, Sean Larkin of Richmond Hill; daughter, Katie Byers (Brandin) of Richmond Hill; his granddaughter, Rowan Byers; sister, Eileen Galluccio of New Port Richey, Florida; brother, Daniel Larkin of Rochelle Park, New Jersey; aunt, Barbara Gallagher of Florida; uncle, Francis Larkin of Galway, Ireland; aunt, Nonie McTiernan of Sligo, Ireland; and many nieces, nephews, godchildren and cousins in Ireland.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with Father Allan McDonald officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the United Way of the Coastal Empire, Bryan County Office, 9611 Ford Ave., Richmond Hill, GA 31324.

Pat you are truly missed. Your granddaughter is beautiful, smart and sassy. She would have had you wrapped around her finger. She loves the pool and swims like a fish. Phil and I love when they all come for a weekend. You are always in my prayers.

My family and I are saddened by the sudden passing of Pat Larkin. We are grateful for the last ten years as we lived close enough to each other to spend holidays and long summer weekends together. Pat loved his family and was very proud of his children. His granddaughter Rowan was his pride and joy. Pat you were a kind hearted man and will be dearly missed.

We are so saddened to hear of Pats passing. He is fondly remembered by his cousin Jim Lynch and family in Ireland. We remember the good times, laughs and memories made - and a glass or two of bourbon drank in friendship. Fond memories of the Larkin's General Store with Pat behind the counter telling a few jokes! God he only takes the best young. Rest in peace Pat.
