Brian K. Houle

Brian K. Houle, 37, formerly of Bucyrus and recently residing in the Denver, Colorado area died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Kremmling, Colorado.

Brian was born February 13, 1975 in Bucyrus. He grew up attending school at Holy Trinity School and then graduated from Col. Crawford in 1993 where he excelled both academically as an honor student and athletically as a football player and excelled in track. Brian was proud to have participated with fellow Eagles at the 1992 and 1993 state track and field meets. He furthered his education by studying psychology at the University of Toledo where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu.

Brian had worked various jobs including; IB Tech, Sika, Robinson Industrial Maintenance and most recently had found a job that would provide a secure future for both him and his son Logan Keith Houle. His family would like to express gratitude to Integrity Roofing Inc. for this amazing job opportunity, where he was able to be the superstar employee.

Brian's son Logan was his greatest accomplishment and his greatest joy. He loved having fun in life but most of all he loved doing things with his son Logan. Whether teaching him guitar, helping with his basketball team or just hanging out, Logan always put a smile on Brian's face and filled his heart with love.

In addition to his son, Logan K. Houle, Brian is survived by his mother and father, Pamela and William Robinson of Bucyrus; father, Frederick Houle of Port Charlotte, Fla., brother, Robert Houle of Bucyrus; sisters, Angela (Edward) Devaney of San Diego, Calif., Shay (Chris Schnabel) Robinson Campbell and Tori (Jason) Robinson Bursby, both of Bucyrus; nieces and nephews, Hailey, Eddie, Skyler who is Brian's God daughter, Gage and Finnegan Devaney, Jamie, Jessica and Justin Campbell and one great nephew Brayden. Brian is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Paul Richard Walters of Tiffin and his paternal grandmother, Gladys Houle of Florida; and three uncles, Larry Walters, Fr. Gary Walters both of Tiffin and Ronald (Sue) Walters of Arizona along with numerous cousins.

Brian is reunited with his maternal grandmother, Irene Walters; paternal grandfather, Robert Houle, his step-grandparents, Johnie and Lois Robinson and his friend, Megan Bish-Ritter whose life was also lost in this tragedy.

Friends are asked to write memories and share a favorite photo of them with Brian for his son Logan to reflect on as he grows up. Brian's family will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 29 at Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St., Bucyrus, Ohio 44820. To the Houle Family,
I have known him since he was in diapers, with that mischievious little grin. He was a cutie and grown to be a great young man. May his light shine down upon all of you, even at your darkest hours, and know he is always a thought away..RIP Brian...
