Carl Dunaway Obituary
BUCYRUS - Carl Franklin Dunaway, Sr., 62, of Bucyrus, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Altercare of Bucyrus following a brief battle of cancer.
Carl was born July 30, 1955 in Cleveland to the late Frank Lionel Dunaway, Sr. and Mildred "Maxine" (Mechling) Dunaway. He is survived by two children, Carl F. Dunaway Jr. and Ambra Payne, several grandchildren; three brothers, Frank, Jimmy, and Zane Dunaway. Carl is also survived by a special friend, Debbie McClain and her two daughters, Elizabeth (Mohammad) Al-Mansur and their children, Evangeline and Aiden and Lana McClain and Patrick Sunderhaus.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a son, Carl F. Dunaway, Jr., two sisters, Mildred and Phyllis as well as six brothers, Lyndon, Max, Christopher, Lenny, Eric and Wesley.
Carl's vibrant personality, excitement for life and joy of sharing the word of God will be greatly missed by those lucky enough to call him friend or family.
A memorial service will be held at Wise Funeral Service on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Bernie France officiating. A celebration of life gathering honoring Carl will be held after the service at Prevailing Word Ministries Church on the corner of Beal and Whetstone Ave.
Contributions can be given to the funeral home to help offset expenses and friends are also encouraged to share memories on his tribute page at www.wisefuneral.com.
