Marie Slone

BUCYRUS: Marie Slone, 60 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday Sept. 15, 2016 at home. Marie was born Feb. 1, 1956 in Bucyrus to the late Roy Paul Hurley and Nicie Ellen (Zorns) Smith.

Marie is survived by sisters Elaine Walters and Pauline Byer; brothers Ed, Cletus, and Bruce Monk, all of Bucyrus; additional siblings June, Judy, and Tom; dear friend Daniel Shaw of Bucyrus; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Kay and Terry.

Marie had worked in Crestline at the former Geauga Plastics for 5 years and as Manager of McDonalds in Bucyrus for 7 years. She enjoyed cooking and doing computer work.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
