BUCYRUS: Paul Howard Volk, 20, of Bucyrus died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.

He was born January 23, 1995 to John Volk and the former Denise Miller. Paul studied web design at Pioneer Career and Technology Center and graduated from Wynford High School in 2013. Paul always liked helping people and was able to help residents while working at St. John's Lutheran Ministries Retirement Village in Billings, Montana. He recently returned to Bucyrus where he was looking forward to starting a new career.

Paul will be remembered as a kind, loving soul who was taken far too soon. He was a lot of fun to be around and fancied himself a stand-up comedian, especially with family and close friends. His family meant the world to him and holiday gatherings were his favorite, especially Thanksgiving. He loved his kittens and was an avid gamer. Paul liked playing more involved games with complex storylines and watching "One Piece" anime episodes.

Paul is survived by his father, John Volk; mother and stepfather, Denise and Paul Myers; sister, Katherine (Jordan) Hawk; stepbrother, Cory Myers; and grandparents, Dorothy Volk, Harold and Peggy Miller and Ella Myers. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Frederick Volk and Paul Myers Jr.

Paul's family will receive friends on Monday, August 10 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wise Funeral Service in Bucyrus where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Pastor David Bliss officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
