Sandra Christopher Obituary
SAWYER, MI: Sandra Kay Christopher, 68, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
A memorial service was held at 1 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Woodland Shores Baptist Church, 3555 Shawnee Road, Bridgman. Friends were received from 12 Noon - 1 PM at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Three Oaks.
Memorial contributions may be given Woodland Shores Youth Ministries.
Sandra was born on November 19, 1946 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Chester Arlo and Helen Elizabeth (Ross) Hieber. Sandy married Peter K. Christopher on August 1, 1970 and they have shared 44 years together. Sandy worked at Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Sawyer and retired from teaching at Countryside Academy in 2014. She was a member of Woodland Shores Baptists Church in Bridgman.
Survivors include her husband: Peter; children: Dawn (William) Nelson of Muskegon, Darren Christopher of Duluth, MN, Brent Christopher of Denver, CO; grandchildren: Collin, Justin and Lauren Nelson; her mother: Helen Hieber of Bucyrus, OH; siblings: Debbie (Bob) Downard of FL and Gene Hieber of OH.
Sandy will be greeted in heaven by her father: Chester A. Hieber.
