Adelaide KROUSE/COWNIE Obituary
Loving wife of Robert Cownie and Andrew Krouse (deceased), mother of Julie McIndoo (Daniel), Drew Krouse (Gretchen), Bill Krouse ( Barb), John Krouse (Kathy), Richard Krouse (Patty), 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Born in Winston Salem, NC., and spent her childhood at Fernandina Beach, Fl. where she and her family later enjoyed winter vacations. Moved to Buffalo in 1946, taught nursery school in Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, and was Executive Secretary of the Board of Directors of Boston Valley Terra Cotta. A memorial service will be held in Lafayette Ave., Presbyterian Church on June 10, at 3pm. Donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Habitat for Humanity or Wounded Warriors Project.
