To the Strollo Family:
Could not help to respond to Dr. Al's obituary in the Buffalo News of 8/11/06.
The name Strollo is legendary in Batavia. NY. I remember that Mary Strollo was principal of Lincoln Elementary School on William Street.
I was born on Ellicott St. near the corner of William St. and the Strollo family lived on the other side of the street near Harvester Ave. The family had lived on Hutchins St prior to that.
The Strollo family should be justiably proud of the accomplishments of the entire family.
Batavia is certainly proud of her native son.
On behalf of the Rosica family - our six children are scattered throughout the US - all the remaining Rosica family members in Batavia, our sincere and deepest sympathy to you. May God continue to bless all of you and we are sure that Dr. Al is in heaven and praying for all of us.
