In Loving Memory of Alfred Salvatore Rapillo aka Fast Freddie. Born in Buffalo, NY on November 24, 1951 Deceased in Sherman Oaks, CA on March 24, 2021. Loving son of the late Ralph and Carmela Rapillo and late brother, Andrew Rapillo. Cousin, nephew, friend, teacher and musical brother to many. Relatives and friends may visit Angeleno Mortuary, 5948 Van Nuys Blvd., VAN NUYS, CA on Friday, April 9th, from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Freddie's friends, students and bandmates became family to him. He loved Fast guitars and Fast motorcycles. Recorded, performed, played and mentored many in his musical Fam. Junction West, Spyrogyra, House Rockers, Rick James and Soul Machine, to name a few. Traveled, on his Harleys, cross country many times to visit the important people in his life. Loved his feline family, Vito, Benny and Enzo. Loved his ice hockey family. He may have left this world but, his memory will live on. Peace

It's been a year since you departed. I'm thinking of you now and have many times prior to this thought here. We had so many great talks and a couple mc rides along the way. You lived life on your terms and you were authentic / a real person every moment. I miss you 'The Master of Fast' Words do not convey how the Heart feels or expresses itself. I Love You Freddy !

God will Bless his soul. He already had it. I was a former student and friend of Fast Freddie. He taught me how to add more flare to my church music. I appreciated the home studio practice time and dinners at Jerry's Deli.

I didn't know Fast Freddie, but I followed his music in the late 70's and early 80's. Bands like Junction West, Weekend, Rt33 and Fat Brat were synonymous with the Buffalo Music and Night Club scene. They were laden with talent and original music scores, so unlike the synthesized stuff of today. Rest in eternal peace sir, and thank you for the memories.
