I have not and probably will never meet another person who cared so much about others. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, and his closest friends. Hang in there and dont forget, he is lookin down on us with a huge smile! We'll miss you buddy, but we will never ever forget you!

He was a wonderful person and we are fortunate to have been able to share a part of his precious life. He was such and important part of Laura's life. We will hold on to all the happy memories. I am just in shock I guess. Andy was so young with such a bright future ahead of him. May God be with you and comfort you! Love and prayers, Jan

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Dlugosz and family:

Words cannot convey the heaviness we are feeling in our hearts at the loss of Andy. His spirit permeates our home as our memories of him and our son swirl all around us. We look out on our front lawn and remember the day Andy lost his cell phone in the snow and came to get it after the first thaw. We hear his voice in our hallway as he yells up the stairs for Dan, and we remember breaking bread with him at our table over a simple meal. We didn’t get to visit with him often enough, but when we did, it was a real treat. For as young as Andy was, he made his everlasting mark on those who encountered him. His life was too short, but he made every minute count. Our heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathies.

In times of trouble there is PEACE...

JESUS SAID,

"...My peace I give to you..."

John 14:27

In times of discouragement there is HOPE...

JESUS SAID,

"...I am with you always..."

Matthew 28:20

In times of heaviness there is JOY...

JESUS SAID,

"...Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."

John 16:24

May His peace, hope, and joy fill every corner of your heart and life.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Andy "Doogs" Dlugosz was a champion. He was as strong as a lion, yet as gentile as a lamb. He was a true "friend's" friend. Andy illuminated the world with his smile & his charm. He was like a nephew to us, & like a brother to our sons, Myles & John. There was never a time when we saw Andy that he did not give us a big, loving hug. And his sense of humor always made you feel good. Mike & Fran, you can be very proud of your son...we are proud of him, too, & we will miss him dearly. You are in our thoughts & prayers. God bless you, Andy.
