Just heard about Reds passing from his little sister Audrey (she rents my condo in Fla). 2 years ago when Audrey broke her leg I got to talk to Red. Found he was a WWII navy pilot same as my Grandfather from Egdewater. I enjoyed talking about flying with Red and will always cherish the short time I knew Him.

Again my condolences to his family.

Dear Mrs. Moore, Barb and Bev,

We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Moore's passing away. I am so sorry we could not attend the wake (flu). I always loved your family. My earliest memories was how beautiful your horses were, and how proud Mr. Moore was of them (Sherrie and Cindy). I can almost feel the country air when I would walk into your barn, or notice when your dad was helping to get one of the horses ready to ride. I remember the beautiful halters, and how much I wanted to be like both of you. This is really how I decided I wanted a Morgan!!

I also remember so many years later when I volunteered for Lautherian, and would see Mr. Moore drive a tractor with a smile from one ear to the next.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.

To Jean & Family, this picture of Red is just the way I have always have remembered him ... with a gleem in his eye & a joke on his lips. Believe it or not, I still remember riding to school in that station wagon you all had with Tom, Tim and Red as our chaufer. Our family has so many great memories of your family when you lived here in Irving. Gone but definitely not forgotten ... Rest in Peace, Red. Our prayers are with you all.

Jean, Barb, Beverly, I am so very sorry for your loss, But Heavens gain. Your father/husband was a wonderful man I will always remember. Your home was filled with the nicest people. I remember as a little girl growing up coming over and Jean cooking chili. The beautiful horses in the spotless barn. How their noses were so soft, . I remember learning about cat nip and seeing a mass of it growing there. I remember the radio in your barn playing John Denver. Your family taught me a great deal about animals and all the responsibilities of taking care of them. they were beautiful out in the pasture. And Our Little maxie coming over to visit Gretel. I remember so much. And Red Moore, He always had a smile was always kind. It was a wonderful place to grow up. I don't think there could be anywhere or any nicer neighbors in the whole world. I am sure all the angels in heaven were blowing the trumpets when he arrived. What a nice man. A nice family. Thank you for making our corner of the world such a special place. Laurie Krantz
