Barbara and my mom had been friends since Pete and I were in strollers. She was so vivacious and always welcomed a visit from us- waiting with cookies and tea. I still have my potholders, microwave bowl holder, neck warmers, and mom I think still has the little pillows Barbara made for her. I still think of her if I cross paths with a bolt of cat fabric. Thanks for all the wonderful memories Mrs. Kautz. Rest peacefully. My love to the families of Pete and Henry.

So very sad. She was a favorite of my girls. I have 100 fond memories of my Aunt and when I grow up I want to be just like her. I celebrate having known and loved her.
