Barbara was the sweetest soul. I remember being 14 and staying with Barbara and Angelo when I tagged along on a trip to Niagara Falls with my sister, Beth and her husband - Barbara´s son - David. Barbara was the most welcoming person I´ve ever been around. I was able to do water aerobics with her and enjoy lovely family meals, which if you knew Barbara, family meals were important and fabulous!
Barbara and Angelo surprised me at my wedding and partied with the best of them until the very end! I have an end of the night group photo of everyone to prove it.
Barbara was always so thoughtful. She mailed both my daughters packages of books which they were thrilled to open and read!
I wish I could be in Grand Island celebrating her wonderful life and memory.
Sending my love to all of the family.

The Buffalo Ladies of Charity send their condolences to the family. Barbara was a supporter of LOC for many years dedicated to collecting school supplies for the backpack program for children. We thank God for Barbara and her dedication and care for the poor and Ladies of Charity.
