Clarence FRANKLIN Obituary

FRANKLIN - Clarence DeWitt Age 79, of Danby, died Saturday afternoon at his residence. He is a retired remedial Math teacher from the Buffalo City Schools. Survivors include his wife, Susan Franklin; two daughters, Deborah Ghee and Martha Franklin; eight sons, Clarence Franklin Jr., Jerry (Carol), Michael (Emma), Philip (Felina), James, Andrew (Stacey), Thomas (Lynn) and Matthew Franklin; a sister-in-law, Crissy Franklin; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Consuelo Parker; two brothers, Joseph and Harry Franklin Jr. A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 4:00 PM at the THOMAS T. EDWARDS FUNERAL HOME, 995 Genesee St., Buffalo. Burial will be on Saturday in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, TX. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements by HERSON FUNERAL HOME, Ithaca.

Dear Phillip and your family my deepest sorrow for your loss.
After reading your father obituary I see you were all blessed to have such a large family. Knowing that I believe your father felt the same. His life was very fruitful and leaves behind a tremous legacy. May God bless you and give you his grace to carry on in your time of sorrow. Philip and family, Here is a hug from me… I may not have know your father but I do know about a fathers’ love and remember to keep that close to your hearts.
